The COVID-19 pandemic disproportionately impacted Hispanic communities and introduced new challenges to Latino families’ wellbeing. As the nation moves into the recovery phase, what can we learn from research about: How are Latino families coping? How can programs build on the strengths of Hispanic families to support them now and in the future? Join the National Research Center on Hispanic Children & Families in a research-to-practice webinar to discuss what research tells us about the resilience of Hispanic families and how programs can build on these strengths to offer a pathway to recovery.

Dr. Natasha Cabrera, Center Co-Investigator, will share her latest research focused on factors that promote resilience in the face of pandemic-related among Hispanic families. She will be joined by Adrian Pedroza from Abriendo Puertas and Mariana Osoria from Family Focus who will discuss how these findings align with their experience serving Hispanic communities.
