1. Head Start voices need to be heard. Take a moment to thank those Members of Congress who’ve signed letters in support of additional funding for Head Start and urge others to do the same.
   
   
2. The Florida Alliance of Children’s Councils & Trusts week eight Capitol Connection is now available. This update provides information on all proposed legislation related to children, youth, and families in Florida. 
   
   
3. Caring for the Oral Health of Children Experiencing Homelessness, Head Start programs serve many children who are experiencing homelessness. This tip sheet highlights oral health issues faced by children experiencing homelessness. It also includes tips Head Start staff can use to partner with children’s families to find and use oral health care. ECLKC, updated April 4, 2023
