Learn about our trainer: Michelle Toral, Head Start Section Manager, Miami-Dade County Head Start & Early Head Start  

Michelle Toral is the Head Start Manager at Miami-Dade County’s Community Action and Human Services Department, where she leads administrative and programmatic activities for Mental Health, Education, Disabilities, Quality Assurance, and Innovations for the largest Head Start/Early Head Start Program in Region IV. Prior to her current role, Ms. Toral was a District Supervisor at Miami-Dade County Public School’s Office of Early Childhood Programs, a Curriculum Support Specialist, a Head Start Teacher, and an Early Childhood Teacher.
Michelle holds a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Leadership & Professional Development from the University of Florida and an Early Childhood Leadership Certificate from Harvard. She has a Coaching certification with extensive experience in facilitating communities of practice and professional learning communities. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, focusing on Early Childhood Education and endorsements in Reading and Teaching English as a Second Language.

 

DeArdra Rolle, Special Projects Administrator, Miami-Dade County Head Start & Early Head Start

DeArdra Rolle is the Head Start Administrator at Miami-Dade County’s Community Action and Human Services Department. DeArdra oversees the Mental Health, Education, and Disability (MED) Service Areas. Prior to her current role, Ms. Rolle was a Curriculum Support Specialist and Early Childhood Teacher. DeArdra holds a Master’s Degree in Reading, a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, and a Coaching Certification in Early Childhood from the Lastinger Center at the University of Florida.
