Over the last several years, the early childhood community experienced unprecedented levels of stress—too often while working long hours and without the pay and support they deserve. Many early childhood educators and providers continue to experience heightened stress, burnout, exhaustion, and even depressive symptoms. Promoting access to mental health support and wellness for early childhood educators and service providers is critical to a strong early childhood system.
