Register Online Now!The Office of Child Care (OCC) is pleased to announce that the 2019 Infant-Toddler and School-Age Child Care (ITSACC) Institute will be a virtual event. This year’s institute, titled Bridging the Child Care Continuum Through Policy and Practice, will kick off with a plenary session on October 2, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. (Eastern Time). The ITSACC Institute is designed to build the capacity of professionals working to manage and support childcare systems, particularly those focused on infant-toddler or school-age care policies and practices implemented under the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) program. The 2019 virtual ITSACC Institute will start with a kickoff webinar titled Quality: An Equity Lens Across the Age Continuum. Shannon Christian, OCC Director, will provide a welcome and an introduction to the ITSACC Institute. The keynote speaker, Dr. Aisha Ray, Professor Emerita at the Erikson Institute and Distinguished Fellow at the BUILD Initiative, will discuss the importance of using a racial equity lens in our quality initiatives to support children across the age continuum. Following the kickoff webinar, a series of three topical webinars with guest speakers and interactive discussions will be offered in November, December, and January:
