Trauma-Responsive Care: A Framework of Resilience for States and TerritoriesRegister OnlineChildren and families experience stressors, often unknown to their caregivers, that affect their lives in different ways. An estimated 60 percent of children experience some form of a potentially traumatic event or circumstance. Fortunately, committing to trauma-responsive systems can build protective factors that foster resilience in children, families, and members of the child care workforce who support them. Trauma-responsive care builds on the need to be trauma-informed by adding strategies for providing responsive care, which is a best practice for all children. This webinar will provide considerations for integrating trauma-responsive practices throughout an early childhood (EC) system.
