  1. Have you heard? FHSA released a new member benefit. Check these New Staff Recruitment and Family Enrollment Social Media Toolkits NOW AVAILABLE! We hope programs find these toolkits helpful, aimed at bolstering your pool of applicants and assisting with recruiting qualified children and families.

  2. As Florida experiences heat waves & high temperatures, we are reminded to stay hydrated and cool to avoid heat-related illnesses. NEVER LEAVE CHILDREN OR PETS IN A PARKED CAR. Learn more about heat safety by visiting the Florida Division of Emergency Management.

  3. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a Health Alert Network (HAN) Health Advisory to share information about identifying locally acquired malaria cases in two states, Florida and Texas. Four cases within close geographic proximity in Florida have been identified, and active surveillance for additional cases is ongoing. Malaria is a serious and potentially fatal disease transmitted through the bite of an infective female anopheline mosquito. CDC Health Alert Network, June 26, 2023

The FHSA Office will be closed on Tuesday, July 4 in observance of the holiday.
