HHS Launches the First National Early Care and Education Workforce Center, The National Early Care and Education Workforce Center's research and technical assistance activities will work together to build a career pipeline for the early care and education workforce, including support for pursuing credentials and degrees while maintaining the sector's diversity and identifying and implementing sustainable ways to increase compensation and benefits. February 2, 2023

  2. NHSA Announces its 23-23 Policy Agenda, On January 22, NHSA’s Board of Directors approved the Head Start Policy Agenda for the 118th Congress (2023-24). The Policy Agenda serves as the backbone for all of NHSA’s legislative and regulatory strategy, reauthorization work, and pursuit of policy priorities. It is the guiding star NHSA follows as we work to identify opportunities with Congress and the Administration to impact policies that affect Head Start children, families, and communities.
