  1. All children and families deserve high-quality accessibility to education and care, regardless of their circumstances. Join us in uplighting the Head Start voice to ensure funding cuts don't happen for Head Start! Take action and contact your congressional members today!

  2. Changes to Medicaid and CHIP Automatic Enrollment: Don't let your families lose their health care coverage. Everyone on Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Plan (CHIP) must reapply for their health insurance. Head Start programs can help families by learning about Florida's state's process and visiting our state's Medicaid and CHIP websites for resources and support.

  3. Programs must ensure that staff who work with expectant parents and families have the knowledge, training, experience, and competencies to support them effectively. Check out these resources provided by the National Center on Parent, Family, and Community Engagement regarding how your program can stay compliment. ECLKC, updated July 7, 2023

Please visit our WYNTK resource webpage, which is updated regularly, and the FHSA events list for more information. If there is something else you need guidance on, let us know - we will continue to work with state agencies and partners to answer your questions.
