Here's what you need to know

  1. Take Action for Head Start funding! The current House proposal includes significant funding cuts to Labor, Health, and Human Services, impacting programs like Head Start. The LHHS subcommittee will meet on Thursday, June 27, while the full committee will convene on Wednesday, July 10. Your active engagement is pivotal. It's essential for lawmakers to understand why supporting Head Start is crucial. Act now – make your voice heard and reach out to them today!

  2. FHSA is hosting another round of workgroups for those interested in delving into the NPRM and all the changes and challenges this ruling presents to programs. We have two workgroups available. Click the link below to the one that interests you.
    ▪️ NPRM Workgroup: Family Services Workers, Wednesday, June 26 @ 1:30 p.m.
    ▪️ NPRM Workgroup: Benefits Standards, Wednesday, June 26, @ 4:00 p.m.

  3. Don't miss the Prevention Convention on September 12-13, 2024, hosted by The Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida and The Florida Center for Early Childhood. Join us in our mission to prevent child abuse and neglect, break the stigma around family support, and identify delays and disabilities early. Let's make a difference together!

Please visit our  WYNTK resource webpage, for archived WYNTK and FHSA events for more information. If there is something else you need guidance on, let us know - we are happy to connect with you and learn how FHSA can serve you better.
