  1. During the NHSA Fall Leadership Institute closing session, we had the opportunity to hear directly from the Office of Head Start Director, Khari Garvin, about moving onward and upward with the recommitment to ensure Head Start is serving the children and families in our communities with the greatest needs while providing safe environments. You can learn more about OHS's five priorities here

  2. Show your staff how valued they are by nominating them for FHSA #ThankfulThursday. Each Thursday, FHSA will recognize your organization's staff, parents, teachers, and volunteers. It only takes a few minutes, but the results last a lifetime.

  3. Self-care leads to better interactions at work and at home. Check out this webisode of Teacher Time to hear from adult health and wellness experts talk about strategies to support the overall well-being of early care and education professionals

Please visit our WYNTK resource webpage, which is updated regularly, and the FHSA events list for more information. If there is something else you need guidance on, let us know - we will continue to work with state agencies and partners to answer your questions.

Sincerely,

Wanda Minick
