- Read FHSA Executive Director Statement regarding the looming Government Shutdown and Impacts in our State. After midnight on this Saturday (9/30), FY23 ends for the federal government. Federal workers will not be paid without an agreement to keep funding flowing, and many government services will be slowed or stopped. September 28, 2023
- ICYMI: Watch NHSA webinar, which highlights the opportunities for Early Head Start and child welfare organizations to better collaborate locally on behalf of children and families. Presenters examined barriers to the two systems working together, how they can be addressed, and partnership opportunities at the state and local levels.
- Pyramid Model Resource Collection: Addressing Exclusionary Discipline Practices. The National Center for Pyramid Model Innovation released resources based on the Pyramid Model for Promoting Social-Emotional Competence in Infants and Young Children (Pyramid Model)—for states, communities, and early childhood programs aimed to eliminate the use of exclusionary discipline practices.
