1. Head Start Referral App for Children Experiencing Homelessness SchoolHouse Connection and the National Head Start Association, Finding and enrolling young children experiencing homelessness is a challenge for many Head Start and early childhood programs. The Head Start referral app was developed through a partnership between the NHSA and SchoolHouse Connection to provide a tool for K12 local educational agency liaisons to use when they become aware of a younger sibling of a student experiencing homelessness who might be eligible for Head Start enrollment.
