  1. Floridians, it's time to prepare and heed all the local warnings for the impending hurricane in the days ahead. Stay vigilant by visiting the Florida Division of Emergency Management for updated information and guidance.   2. October is Head Start Awareness Month. Make sure your programs spread the word about who you serve and your impact on your local community. OHS has created a toolkit to help you promote your Head Start program, the services you provide to families, and other providers of early care, education, and family services. FREE: Count the Kicks Webinar for Head Start, Wednesday, September 28, 2022 @ 12:00 PM ET, Please join us and Healthy Birth Day, Inc. for an interactive and informational webinar on Count the Kicks, an evidence-based stillbirth prevention program that educates expectant parents on the importance of tracking fetal movement in the 3rd trimester of pregnancy.
