The Office of Child Care invites you to join a webinar conversation on improving your use of cost data for rate-setting. We will explore strategies lead agencies may consider once they have their cost data gathered, including analyzing the data and building a cost model. Maya Portillo from the Center for Early Learning Funding Equity will join to share her experience working with states to analyze cost data.

This webinar, which will be facilitated by the National Center on Subsidy Innovation and Accountability (NCSIA) and National Center on Early Childhood Quality Assurance, is intended for lead agencies that are at all stages of using cost data or the alternative methodology process and their partners (as invited by the lead agency). The webinar will take place on September 14, 2023, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. (EDT).

This webinar is the fourth in a series on this topic and is open to all, regardless of previous participation with our other webinar conversations. Recordings of the first and second webinars in the series are available on the Administration for Children and Families’ YouTube channel.

Who Should Participate
State and territory Child Care and Development Fund administrators, fiscal staff members, subsidy managers, program staff members, and others who are exploring the use of or are actively working on the use of cost data to set rates or who are completing an alternative methodology should participate in this webinar.
