Register Here!Every day, Head Start directors, managers, staff, and parent leaders work to ensure that families feel welcome in their programs. Join this four-part webinar series about fostering the most accepting and inclusive Head Start and Early Head Start environments for LGBTQIA2S+ parents, families, and colleagues. LGBTQIA2S+ is an acronym for people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex, asexual, two-spirit, or additional sexual orientations and gender identities that are not heterosexual or cisgender. This series focuses on key terms, biases, and facts; program planning for Head staff; building trusting and respectful relationships; and celebrating the lived experiences of LGBTQIA2S+ parents, families, and staff. In this third webinar, we’re exploring relationship-building strategies to welcome, engage, and partner with LGBTQIA2S+ parents, families, and staff. Join us as we discuss cultivating strengths-based relationships, promoting well-being, and showing allyship with LGBTQIA2S+ communities. Facilitators provide opportunities for knowledge-building, discussion, and self-reflection. The last 30 minutes is an optional Q&A session with the facilitators. This webinar is offered with simultaneous interpretation in Spanish. Key Topics
