The Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida is partnering with The Florida Center for Early Childhood to co-host a professional conference called the Prevention Convention at the Embassy Suites in Orlando on September 12-13, 2024. The Prevention Convention will feature six regionally and nationally recognized speakers discussing topics centered on preventing child abuse and neglect, destigmatizing the need for family support, and early identification of delays, disabilities, and conditions. This year’s theme for the Prevention Convention focuses on building Protective Factors in families.
