In collaboration with Tennessee State University, HSSCO and FHSA present our in-state Social Services Competency-Based Training Program satisfying Head Start Program Performance Standards 1302.91(e)(7).
The Tennessee State University Social Services Competency-Based Training Program aligns with the Head Start and Early Head Start relationship-based competencies. This credential is for Staff and Supervisors who work with families. This course offers expanded sections on critical areas that are vital to Head Start services.

- Home Visitors
- Teachers
- Health Services Staff
- Community Workers
Upon successful completion, participates will receive an industry-recognized Social Services certification from Tennessee State University. Click to download flyer
Class size is limited to a maximum of 25 participants.

Agenda
Modules 1-2: Participants must attend all five days of the training course
Monday, October 7 - Friday, October 11, 2019 - Completed
Module 3: November 13-15, 2019. Final Test Scores and Portfolio.
Participants must attend the final three days of the training course to receive the credential.
8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - Training Class
12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. - Lunch on your own
1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Training Class
This training will take place at the Hard Rock Hotel in Daytona Beach, FL

Ms. Rogers' experience extends to Social Work (BSW), Urban Planning (MSUS), and Public Administration (MPA) offering years of progressive Social Services and Management experience including case management, staff training, and development, records management, quality assurance, policy development, communications, community partnerships, group facilitation, and program evaluation.

Florida Head Start Association Cancellation Policy - A submitted registration is a commitment to pay. No refunds will be issued, though you may transfer your registration to another person at no additional charge.
