Perinatal depression is one of the most common complications of pregnancy and the postpartum period. It can occur any time during pregnancy or in the 12 months after childbirth. The good news is that with screening and referrals for care, perinatal depression can be prevented or treated. Join this webinar to learn strategies to promote equitable access to effective mental health services and supports for all birthing parents. The webinar will also address the unique needs of specific birthing people, such as sexual and gender minorities, indigenous communities, and immigrant and refugee populations, who may benefit from specialized or tailored mental health resources during the perinatal period.
