LENA’s “talk pedometer” technology, sometimes called a “FitBit for conversation,” has told us more about interaction in early childhood education than was ever thought possible.

Attendees will hear what we've learned about the state of teacher-child interactions from over 24,000 daylong audio recordings. Even more importantly, you'll hear why it matters — the brain science, the long-term outcomes for children, the positive benefits for teachers.

Attendees will also learn about LENA Grow, an evidence-based, language-focused professional development program for early childhood educators. Hear success stories and learn more about the positive outcomes for children and teachers alike (vocabulary skills and TS GOLD scores, socioemotional development and DECA scores, CLASS scores, job satisfaction and self-efficacy, and more).
