More than 1 million children ages birth to 6 experience homelessness in the U.S. These children are automatically eligible for Head Start services. Join Office of Head Start, training and technical assistance, and national experts for a three-day interactive virtual professional development event for leadership and staff to enhance programs' capacities to boost recruitment, enrollment, and retention of children and families experiencing homelessness. Discover the importance of strengthening community partnerships, leveraging leadership and governance in discussions around housing instability, and ensuring families have access to supports and services. The Institute is offered with simultaneous interpretation in Spanish, with several sessions offered in Spanish.
