Empowering children to independently and effectively resolve disagreements with peers requires patience, love, and practice in developing a variety of skills, such as taking others’ perspectives and recognizing their feelings. This session provides ideas and key points to help children learn that conflicts can be resolved when adults intentionally model and scaffold children through effective problem-solving strategies.
