Early childhood programs that focus on health literacy can improve the well-being of children, families, and staff. This webinar explores how child care health consultants (CCHCs) can use health literacy principles to develop policies and procedures that are easy for staff to understand and carry out. CCHCs can also use these principles to help programs create training materials and resources for staff and families to promote healthy and safe behaviors. Implementing health literacy principles in program practices helps families make health-related decisions for themselves and their children.
