The Office of Child Care’s (OCC) National Center on Subsidy Innovation and Accountability (NCSIA) is excited to continue hosting the National Program Integrity Webinar Series in fiscal year (FY) 2021. These national webinars highlight Lead Agency strategies that support the use of internal controls and fraud prevention efforts in their Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) programs. The benefits of program integrity and fraud prevention strategies continue to be of national interest, and as stewards of public funds, CCDF Lead Agencies have a responsibility to examine their programs’ accountability measures.

The content for this webinar is based on feedback from our previous webinars and on requests for more detailed information on program integrity strategies related to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

In FY 2021 Program Integrity Webinar #1, we will provide strategies for maintaining CCDF program integrity as Lead Agencies assist providers and families in adapting to the challenges resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. We will also offer program integrity tips as CCDF Lead Agencies implement changes resulting from COVID-19 pandemic mandates (Federal, state, or local), discuss strategies to maintain CCDF program integrity at the state level, and highlight a Lead Agency’s success story.

Who Should Participate?

CCDF administrators, program integrity staff members, quality assurance personnel, and policy and budget analysts are all encouraged to participate in the webinar and to engage in the discussion.

Save the Date! Future webinars in this series are tentatively planned for March, June, and September 2021.
