Why do you want to serve on the FHSA Board of Directors?

I have been the supervisor of Hillsborough County Public School Head Start for three years, and I was also selected for the Vanessa Rich Award by FHSA for the 2023-2024 academic year. I would love the opportunity to serve Head Start in a larger capacity, as I understand that we do not do this job alone but together. I feel this opportunity will allow me to continue to grow in my current role as I learn about and support the needs of our state programs. We must offer hope to all students and families that we serve, and we can never forget that they are our "why."
