Director-at-large Candidate, Autumn Tomas

A Tomas Consulting, LLC, CEO

Why do you want to serve on the FHSA Board of Directors?

I am passionate about Head Start. I have been a parent, a staff person, and a Head Start Director. Now, as a grants management consultant, I provide support to nonprofits for grants implementation and to federal agencies in reviewing grant applications. I have experience as a Board member and officer for several non-profits, and I understand the time and commitment an active Board member must contribute to the agency. I am committed to FHSA and have shown that in my previous role as the Chair of the Directors Committee and in my current role as Chair of the Friends Group. I want to do all I can to help support FHSA in its mission and to support Florida Head Start programs in continuing to be the leader of Head Start services.

What skills and talents would you bring to the FHSA Board of Directors?
