- The “Reducing Federal Burden” NPRM released last week proposes sweeping changes that would fundamentally reshape Head Start, and FHSA is taking a deliberate, methodical approach to its review. We’ve issued an initial press release and will host a directors’ call next week to gather input and shape clear messaging for the field. We urge all members to read the NPRM, review the key takeaways, and stay engaged as FHSA works to ensure Florida’s voice is strongly represented.
- The Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (IECMHC) has reached out to FHSA as they explore offering their full training program in Spanish — including translated self‑guided modules and a live Spanish‑language class. They’re asking Florida programs to complete a one‑minute survey to gauge interest, FHSA encourages members to share this opportunity widely so we can help expand access for communities who need it.
