- The OCC Launches an Updated Provider Cost of Quality Calculator, This updated Provider Cost of Quality Calculator (PCQC) helps users estimate the annual costs and revenue of operating a child care center or an FCC home-based program at different quality levels. Users will have access to “legacy” PCQC through December 30, 2022. After December 30th, legacy PCQC users will lose access to their scenarios in the legacy PCQC. For more information on how to save the scenarios you have loaded in the legacy PCQC and transfer them to the updated PCQC, check out this Tipsheet: Transferring Scenarios from Legacy to Updated Provider Cost of Quality Calculator.
- Building a Stronger Head Start: Recommendations for Improving the 1303 Process, NHSA sent a report to OHS Leadership outlining recommendations from programs regarding challenges with requesting federal funding for renovations, purchases, and construction of facilities.
