  3. Head Start programs embody the cultural diversity of enrolled families, building a more inclusive society where all children can succeed. The Head Start resource, Multicultural Principles for Head Start Programs Serving Children Ages Birth to Five, updates the information and research in Head Start's original handbook published in 1991. Head Start programs may download the individual chapters, or the entire resource, in English or Spanish for their professional learning activities or personal professional development.

Please visit our WYNTK resource webpage, which is updated regularly, and the FHSA events list for more information. If there is something else you need guidance on, let us know - we will continue to work with state agencies and partners to answer your questions.

Sincerely,

Wanda Minick
