Here's what you need to know

  1. Join HSCO’s Mental Health Focus Group on Jan. 20! Your voice is needed to shape Florida’s statewide assessment on mental health, disabilities, and workforce needs. Staff in this service area are encouraged to join the conversation on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 1–2 p.m. EST.

  2. Raise Your Voice with Parents Unite! NHSA is mobilizing families nationwide ahead of April 2026 congressional meetings. Join the Jan. 20 Zoom Call at 3 p.m. ET to plug into the campaign and take action. Open to all caregivers.

  3. Let's add our EHS/HS kiddos handprint to this year’s Celebration of the Hands, the powerful art display that will welcome legislators and visitors during Children’s Week Florida 2026. This artwork helps remind Florida’s leaders that our children’s future is in their hands. Mail all handprints by February 6, 2026 to be included.

The FHSA Office will be closed Monday, January 19th
in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday.
We will resume normal operations on Tuesday, January 20th.

Please visit our WYNTK resource webpage, for archived WYNTK and FHSA events for more information. If there is something else you need guidance on, let us know - we are happy to connect with you and learn how FHSA can serve you better.

Sincerely,

Wanda Minick
