- Urge Congress to Act on Head Start Funding! The House has released its draft FY26 Labor/HHS bill, including an $85M increase for Head Start—a positive step, but still not enough to meet rising program costs. With the current Continuing Resolution expiring January 30, Congress must act quickly. Please take one minute today to email your Members of Congress and urge them to pass the FY26 Labor/HHS bill with increased funding for Head Start—and encourage your networks to do the same. Your voice matters.
- ICYMI: Head Start Litigation Update — Understanding the New Federal Ruling on DEI and Workforce Cuts. Together for Head Start recently hosted a webinar with ACLU attorneys and plaintiff organization leaders to explain the implications of the preliminary injunction and what it means for Head Start programs moving forward.
