  1. Take Action TODAY! The House Committee on Appropriations released its Fiscal Year 2024 Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations bill includes a 6.25% reduction–$750,000,000–in Head Start and Early Head Start funding. WE CAN NOT ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN. Join us in reminding your members of Congress that #HeadStart provides life-changing opportunities for your communities most at-risk children and families.

  2. Calling all leaders! FHSA Nominating Committee is seeking nominations (Self-Nominations only) for Head Start/Early Head Start Directors in the Central and Northwest Regions in Florida, along with an open Director-At-Large Seat to be filled by a Staff, Parent, or Friend of FHSA. Click here for details.

  3. EHS Best Practice: Post-partum Wednesday, August 02, 2023, @ 2:00 PM ET, Join NHSA for this workshop that will engage participants in deepening relationship-based, developmentally informed practice that improves professionals’ and parents’ ability to successfully understand and apply child developmental constructs to their daily practice.

Please visit our WYNTK resource webpage, which is updated regularly, and the FHSA events list for more information. If there is something else you need guidance on, let us know - we will continue to work with state agencies and partners to answer your questions.
