- Federal Update: FY27 Funding Bill Released. The House Labor/HHS Appropriations Subcommittee released its draft FY27 funding bill this morning, proposing a $10 million increase for Head Start. While modest, this keeps Head Start in a strong position as negotiations continue. The Subcommittee will mark up the bill tomorrow, with full committee action set for Tuesday, June 9. Stay tuned for more details.
