While the Trump administration’s skinny budget does not include Head Start specifically, advocates remain concerned about cuts that threaten hundreds of thousands of children and families. - The 2025 Regular Legislative Session was set to wrap up this week, but a late-Friday House resolution extended it through June 6. Lawmakers will return May 12 to finalize the state’s spending plan.
