NHSA Comments on the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on Child Nutrition Programs, On May 10, NHSA submitted comments in response to the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service’s Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), which sets nutrition standards and funds healthy meals and snacks for Head Start and Early Head Start children.

  3. Join the National Center on Health, Behavioral Health, and Safety for their Special Office Hours Open to Head Start Program Staff Region IV Tuesday, May 23, 2023, @ 12:00 PM EDT. These office hours will provide an opportunity to connect with national experts and peers regarding Emergency Preparedness, Response, Recovery, and mental health issues.

    The Florida Head Start Association office will be closed on Monday, May 29, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. Our office will reopen on Tuesday, May 30.
