  1. FHSA congratulates its members of Episcopal Children's Services for recently being awarded $23K to expand services in their local community. Episcopal Children's Services (ECS) has been awarded a $23,000 grant from the Beaches Community Fund, giving the ECS Rhoda Martin Early Head Start Center the ability to now serve children up to the age of five.  Press Release, May 22, 2023

  2. Join FHSA Lunch & Learn with FAIMH: Every Moment Counts: Promoting Strong Mental Health from Birth Thursday, May 25, 2023, @ 12:00 PM ET. FAIMH will educate us on facts about infant mental health and how it relates to your work fostering the healthy social-emotional development of the youngest children, and the new Florida Infant Mental Health Endorsement® Early Head Start providers can earn at no cost to you!

  3. Invite Your Elected Official to Visit Your Program. During August, every congressional representative will be back in their home state. Don’t miss this opportunity to showcase your program and advocate for Head Start!  Use this link to view resources to help prepare for the visit of contact FHSA for additional supports. 

    The Florida Head Start Association office will be closed on Monday, May 29, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. Our office will reopen on Tuesday, May 30.
