Here's what you need to know

  1. Urge your Members of Congress to support increased FY27 Head Start funding—lawmakers are back in their districts this week, making it the ideal time to share how rising workforce, facility, transportation, and service costs are straining Florida programs; use the FHSA Advocacy Center to tell your story before they return to Washington, D.C.

  2. Join the Florida Head Start Collaboration Office on June 17 at 11:00 a.m. ET for the launch of the Health, Safety, and Nutrition Workgroup. This new workgroup will provide Health Managers and staff a dedicated space to Convene, Connect, and Collaborate around shared priorities and emerging needs.

  3. Partner with FHSA to strengthen Florida’s Head Start community at the 2026 Annual Conference & Expo. Our 2026 Sponsor & Exhibitor packages offer meaningful visibility and direct access to Head Start leaders statewide—all while helping keep training affordable for programs. Your support fuels the professional development our workforce relies on. View the 2026/2027 Partners Prospectus TODAY!

Please visit our WYNTK resource webpage, for archived WYNTK and FHSA events for more information. If there is something else you need guidance on, let us know - we are happy to connect with you and learn how FHSA can serve you better.

Sincerely,
