Here's what you need to know

  1. As we gear up for the Hurricane season, spanning June 1-November 30, it's important to note that NOAA National Weather Service forecasters predict an 85% chance of an above-normal season. Governor Ron DeSantis has signed two Disaster Preparedness Holidays, starting June 1—14 and August 24—September 6. This is the perfect time to stock up on items like tarps, batteries, and flashlights, which will be sales tax-free, providing a significant cost-saving opportunity. Click here for a complete list of eligible tax-free items . Click here for a full disaster supply kit checklist.

  2. Don't miss this exclusive opportunity to acknowledge the hard work and accomplishments of your colleagues, programs, community partners, parents, and alums with an FHSA Annual Award. FHSA has been a leader in Region IV, with state award recipients going on to achieve regional and national acclaim. Act now and nominate deserving individuals for these prestigious awards!

  3. Attention School Readiness Providers: Only 4 Weeks Left to Complete Mandatory School Readiness Training.
