Here's what you need to know

  1. Hearth & Soul TLH has selected FHSA as its featured nonprofit for September, donating 100% of net profits from its spotlight candle to strengthen Head Start programs across Florida. Every purchase — in store or online helps FHSA elevate the services that support children and families statewide. Join us on September 17 for a Happy Hour Celebration at Hearth & Soul Tallahassee — an evening of connection and community with proceeds benefiting FHSA. ?️

  2. The registration deadline for the 2026 FHSA Annual Conference & Expo has been extended to September 14, giving attendees extra time to finalize plans after the Labor Day weekend. Don’t miss your chance to join us in Orlando for an inspiring week of learning, connection, and growth. Get registered and secure your spot today.

  3. Together for Head Start is urging all families and Head Start staff to sign joint comments calling on the Administration to withdraw the recent NPRM, which would weaken the quality and access of Head Start services. Please share the sign‑on letters and encourage families and staff to add their names in opposition to the proposed rule.

Please visit our WYNTK resource webpage, for archived WYNTK and FHSA events for more information. If there is something else you need guidance on, let us know - we are happy to connect with you and learn how FHSA can serve you better.

Sincerely,

Wanda Minick
