  2. Over 100 new laws now in effect . Florida’s new fiscal year begins with more than 100 laws taking effect on July 1.   3. With July 4th approaching, this is a great time to remind families that while fireworks make celebrations exciting, they also pose serious risks—especially for children and frighten pets.
