- Head Start Tip of the Week: As you approach the end of your budget period, remember to monitor actual spending against your approved budget. Prior approval is required when cumulative transfers reach 10% or more of the total budget or for any capital or equipment purchases.
Submit budget revisions in HSES early — ideally 60 days before your budget period ends— and ensure all forms, narratives, and Board/Policy Council approvals are included.
